St Augustine of Canterbury Church of England Primary School Case Study

Brief
St Augustine’s School underwent a refurbishment to upgrade teaching spaces, circulation routes, and specialist learning areas. The scheme required high-quality internal fire doorsets and glazed screens with coordinated finishes and robust performance suitable for a high-traffic educational environment. design requirements included fire and acoustic performance while supporting efficient installation and compliance with CIF programme standards.
Project Overview
Our team reviewed the full specification and worked closely with CIBCO Construction to ensure the fire door and acoustic performance requirements were fully achievable and compliant. Coordination included mapping all doorset and screen performance and confirming ironmongery requirements. Deliveries were sequenced to align with the project programme, and consolidated documentation packs were supplied to support installation and handover.

Manufacture & Supply
CCN supplied 37 doorsets and 7 glazed screens, all fi-ed with SSS ironmongery. Doorsets were manufactured to achieve up to FD60 fire performance and Rw35dB acoustic performance, while screens were delivered with primed finishes and built to 60/60 fire performance and up to Rw35dB acoustic standards. All items were delivered on time, in full, and ready for straightforward installation.
