CCN works closely with Architects, through to completion
We work hand-in-glove with a number of well know architects practices across the country. We have agreed standard architects fire door specifications in place with a number practices, which facilitates easy planning and specifying at an early stage prior to Stage 4 NBS for dryside door sets. At Stage 4 a more detailed specification is then implemented. Our architects fire door specifications are held in NBS Chorus.
The RIBA Plan of Work is a complex matrix of liaison, structure, demand, consultation, formalisation, process and delivery – from Strategic Definition stage 0 – to – Use stage 7. CCN has a small but vital role in that process and we have the tools and experience to help.

- Collaborative Partnerships with Leading Architects: We maintain close, collaborative working relationships with several well-established architectural practices nationwide. These partnerships are built on mutual trust and shared objectives, ensuring seamless integration of our products into project specifications.
- Pre-Agreed Standard Specifications: We have established a set of standard specifications with many of our architectural partners. These predefined standards streamline the early design process, allowing for efficient and consistent planning well ahead of RIBA Stage 4.
- Facilitated Early-Stage Planning for Dryside Door Sets: Our standardised specifications help architects and design teams. They incorporate dryside door set requirements early in the project lifecycle. This enhances clarity and reduces potential delays during technical design development.
- Detailed Specification at RIBA Stage 4: As projects progress to RIBA Stage 4, we provide a more comprehensive and tailored specification. This ensures that all technical details are accurately captured to meet project-specific needs and compliance requirements.
- Centralised Specification Management via NBS Chorus: All our specifications are maintained and managed through NBS Chorus, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and up-to-date documentation across all projects and stakeholders.
